CMM Programming & Inspection Suite from Verisurf

This CAD-based modular software package by Verisurf makes it easy to program and execute measurement plans, analyze data, run reports, and even create CAD models for legacy parts.

CMM Programming & Inspection Suite

This suite features an easy-to-use, intuitive graphical interface: simply point and click on the model features to include in the inspection plan. All parameters of probe motion can be controlled, and inspection steps can be grouped easily by drag-and-drop programming. CMM gantry and probe motion can also be simulated prior to running the plan in real time.

CAD files from many platforms are supported, including VDA, IGES, STEP, STL, Parasolid, and ACIS. Native file formats included are: SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD, Inventor, Spaceclaim, KeyCreator, Rhinoceros, and optional formats are; Dassault CATIA, Siemens NX and PTC creo.

Reverse Module

The Reverse module creates CAD models from existing parts or when no good CAD data exists. There are three ways to do this:

Measure the part with a contact probe CMM and the Programming and Inspection Suite, or
Scan the part with a REVO noncontact head and MODUS software
Import point cloud data

Working with measured data from any measuring device, Verisurf Reverse automatically creates surfaces, features, and planar, grid, or radial cross-sections on machined parts to create precise CAD models.

Verisurf Reverse creates and custom-fits lines, arcs, splines, planes, spheres, cylinders, free-form surfaces, and more. Providing a fully integrated, comprehensive solution, Reverse also creates meshes from point clouds as an STL file for surface analysis or future tooling and machining.

Analysis Module

The Analysis module is a one-stop tool for comparing data sets and running reports.

Import the nominal CAD model and compare it against both internal and vendor inspection data. Analyze points-to-points, points-to-curves, points-to-surfaces, or points-to-meshes and instantly generate deviation reports. Customizable “best-fit” capabilities innovatively determine the optimal fit between the data and the model.

For reporting, Verisurf Analysis generates Excel-based text and HTML-based color reports, including color deviation mapping for clear, practical analysis.

Integration with AIMS Metrology CMMs

This software package is fully compatible with all AIMS’ CMMs and Renishaw measurement hardware, such as the Summit 10.10.10 and REVO probe head. Being universally compatible, Verisurf is the only measurement software you will need for your operations.
